Police in New Zealand have arrested a 43-year-old man in connection with a major methamphetamine operation in the Lower North Island. The man was found in possession of over $100,000 in cash and a significant amount of methamphetamine during a vehicle search. A subsequent search at an address in Lower Hutt led to the seizure of approximately 10.5 kilograms of methamphetamine, along with other drugs, cash, a firearm, and ammunition. The street value of the haul is estimated to be over $3.6 million, with a drug harm prevention figure of over $11 million. The arrest is part of Operation Elusive, an investigation into a large-scale meth supply business in the region.
